2023 Virtual Postdoc Orientations

Dear Postdoc Administrators,

Below you’ll find the schedule of quarterly Postdoctoral Scholar Orientation for the rest of AY 22-23. All orientations will be held via Zoom. Please save the dates on your calendar for easy reference. I’ve also added the registration link for each date, so you’ll have it handy.

The same information is now available on the Postdoc website (http://www.postdoc.ucla.edu), however, we will not be providing the registration links there; just the dates and times. We would appreciate it if you could provide the registration link directly to your incoming postdocs. This can help us prevent zoom bombers or other non-UCLA affiliated participants from joining. In any case, I will be sending out reminders for each orientation as each date approaches.

For your reference, here’s the agenda of the orientation:

Part 1 – Orientation
For postdocs new and old, get to know other postdocs, learn about the UCLA community, meet leaders from the Postdoctoral Association, and hear about campus resources, support networks, professional development resources and networking opportunities.
Part 2 – Meet Your Union
Postdoc representatives of your union will introduce themselves and answer questions.
